Thumbs up

Sarah

BKS was working on this.
The ones i saw were really good and i believe he was getting brackets made up as well.
If Brian (BKS) cant help you out i have templates of front rear and brackets. You would have to get them made.
I am sure Brian must have them all a ok by now though.

I got some genuine Subaru flaps for my STi, got T&C to fit them, cost twice what I thought they would, and they scrape during 'spirited' driving, actually even not so spirited driving, I am undecided whether they should stay or not !

I got Sparco rally car mud flaps for my Sti, but you can only get them in blue, red or yellow. I chose blue, but at £31 for a set of 4 they protect the car well because they are huge. Jap Innovations supplied them.

I would not pay £200 for a set of mud flaps, IMHO thats way too much.

Some people love them, some people hate them. My kids love them, but mature adults seem to think they look gawdy!! I love em cos they were cheap!!

I've got a set of the ones that BKS makes. Still got to fit them though Quality is A1 though, and a lot less than the £400 genuine ones.

You can get black moulded ones for the new style WRX from your friendly local Subaru dealer, and they are only about £30 - £40 per set. Have a look at the Subaru website for more details: www.subaru.co.uk

CT - the ones you have are adjustable for height - you might find you are on the lower setting of the two. Try lifting them to the higher setting, and they should only rub over sleeping policemen, and really spirited driving. Another option is to drill anotehr set of holes in them, and lift them up a little bit higher still. They will still be very effective, even raised about 2 inches. I believe it's only really the front ones which rub though.

The other alternative, is just to leave them on until they wear down to the point they don't rub any more. These things are very hard wearing though, so this might take a few years!

Cheers John, I didn't know they were adjustable, it took T&C nearly two hours to fit them, they only charged me for one as that is what they quoted, I didn't want to mess with them as if it takes a trained chappie two hours what sort of mess could I get into !!!

They were £280 plus fitting, £65 I think, there was confusion when ordering though as I was quoted £140 per set, I assumed a set was 4, I was mistaken !!

I got a gen Subaru set for about £20 from the dealer. They are not technically for the turbo but they fit with a bit of time. I run 215 tyres and they are exactly the same width as these. The front ones however have been trailing on the ground and need lifted, but work and look fine.

Cheers
