we were there last year and had a great time but roumour has it that all they are interested in is the big boys with cars valuad at over 100K.
The whole point of these things is to show people just how easy it is to get into the spoprt on a budget,not an unlimited one!!!
Come on Mount Stuart give the wee guys a shout as well.

Mount Stuarts latest news is that alistair Mcrae is competing in the evo8WRC2 along with the final round of the mini challenge and eight cometitors from Scotland,englandshire and ireland.

Although not there at the moment I come from the floating lunatic assylum called Bute. Last year the event really took everyone by surprise, yes SWRT was there as was MG and many others. It is run in the grounds of mount Stuart house, the home of Lord Bute, who many of you (or if you prefer the plural youz)will remember as Johnny Dumfries he of JPS Lotus and Jaguar Le Mans fame. It is a cracking day out, yes Cal Mac want4 gold Dubloons and your infant daughter in payment to get across but its worth it, you could camp at Ettrick or Scalpsi Bay. Rumour has it that in the middle of the night, after everyone has gone to bed, people who are brave enough race thier cars around the circuit while others keep edgie for the Polis in thier 1.4 astra. I wouldnt know anything about this of course, being responsible and all that.

i fancy heading back over for this event. it was good last year and by the sounds of things should be even better this year. alan has a goos point though, the ferry will be real busy. not sure if i will leave the car at the terminal. hope to see a few of you over there.
