Apologies if this has been posted before, but Strathclyde now have one. It was on the A82 northbound opposite the golf today, in the temporary 30MPH limit.

Didn't see it m8.
Did see two traffic at a ridiculous point on the way out of H/Burg at around 6pm. 50-100yds away from limit point on the dual carriage way!!!
Had bikers in between us on spanking 03 machines with the first one on intercom(by the looks of things!!)with other two as we passed at 40+ and the traffic couldn't get a fix on us.
I would defo put my hands up if doing 40+ in built up area by a school, hospital etc, but ffs...........
If anyone knows the stretch I am talking about they will agree that(although doing their job! )the traffic were stretching their powers a little!!!
Are there guidelines where police can set up temp speed traps etc???

A talivan is a van with a speed camera in it. They are typically smallish, e.g. Berlingos and such like. The term is thought to have originated in Hawaii and is a pun on Taliban, e.g. fundamentalist extremist zealots, devoid of reason, in pursuit of their cause.

Didn't notice any perhaps I should have plugged in the radar detector, but with the traffic I don't know if I even made it over the limit more than once.
Did anyone else find the coned off lane to the public parking just a little bit tight? I know the RX is a wide car, but it would have been nice to have more than just 3-4 inches on each side.

alter ego-- cheers, i'm not sure if i was zapped on the A86 2 weeks ago............i was told there was a van sitting in the 2nd last lay-by before the bowling roundabout heading towards milton.
I was told it was sitting in the lay-by about 11-20am, i passed by at around 11-50am going over the speed limit, was behind a police 406 estate.....he was going fast, i just followed him......still its still annoying me in the back of my mind.
I know i deserve all i get.........i usually dont drive fast it's the scoobys fault,it makes me drive faster than normal
