After much discussion on the Highlands and Islands meet thread, 2nd August has been decided as a decent date with plenty of notice.
Please pass the word around and put your name on the thread.
Meeting place to be arranged. Any ideas?

Hi Kenny, not sure of time or meeting place yet but will keep the thread updated.
Anyone who's shown interest got a preferred location?
We gonna make it a full day event, going to the pub in the evening or just a few hours and a blast out the road?

Hey Saxo Boy, how you doing!
2nd August, Inverness area...depending on where the bulk of people are coming from. Also, as you know from attending Aberdeen meets, we'll probally keep it under wraps
Other wise all sorts turn up
Then there is an event at Alford on the Sunday where we get to play on the sprint track That's always fun when there are Scoobys around

Doing not bad jools I'll be heading up north on the 19th July so I'll probably have to rely on texts to Sipie to keep me up to date I'll try and make it though

Right, we only have seven confirmed and two possibles so far. Are we definitely going ahead?
There seemed to be a lot of interest from the original thread but nowhere near as much interest for this confirmed date.
Does anybody know any non-scoobynetters that will also be coming?
I know of one boy without web access who will be going but we need to decide soon if it's going to be worth having. Any input from anyone?

Still up for the 2nd as I should be travelling either to Ullapool anyway and would go to a meet in Inverness before hand.
Anyone suggest a good campsite, back garden, luxury spare room , that myself and little Dodgy could use to stay over-night?
C'mon peeps get your name on the list!

I'll just have to remember to check my texts more often. Its the beers and the chilling out that takes over my life when I'm up there - technology goes out the window I'd have to see your mate to know but I know a lot of the locals by face and to talk to

Right, will fire up a time and place and see who agrees or objects from there......
1400hrs on 2nd August in Inverness. Precise location not sure of. Need a suggestion on this one.
None of the guys from Aberdeen going to come through for this?? I know there are plenty of owners there but don't know their scoobynet names. Does anybody else know them to see if we can get more interest?
I know some guys go to Aberdeen from this direction so maybe some Dons could return the favour?
Post your names people!!!

Put me down as a strong possibility as thats the 2nd weekend of my 3 week holiday and I'll probably be needed a proper fill up of SUL so a trip to inverness would be justified....well, it would in my mind
