Not only this but the silver MY02-3 owner actually instigated the waving/friendly flashing! Is this some new breed of enthusiast??

LOL, guess not then. I just saw a black K reg WRX at the Hillend garage with some young folks in it and thought that might be your new car bob. On the basis you posted 5mins before I saw that car you'd have had to do some pretty crazy driving

I went on to by-pass at Hillend and off at Hermiston Gait (motorway).
Probably between 00:30 and 01:00?, Tuesday morning.

It's an MY03 by the way.

Don't worry I wasn't shocked at all although I didn't know I had a scooby behind me until you passed - I will have to learn those new headlights
