Anyone know where I can get optimax around Aviemore ?? I'm heading up that direction this weekend and won't make it there and back on a tank. In fact it's a skyline, so I'll be lucky to make it there on a tank !!
I'll be travelling around Grantown, Elgin and the general area, so locations of any Opti-stations around there would be handy
(or the web address of the site that list's them all).
Thanks
Dave

Dave, if you're going to Elgin, i know that there should be an Optimax station in Forres if my memory serves me right.
I filled up there on my way from Inverness to Banff in January when i was running the Cossie.

There's Optimax sold in Nairn, Forres, Elgin and Keith. Believe it or not though, none in Inverness! Unless the Kingswells Filling Station (aka Danny's Garage?!) has reopened yet. Everytime I drive back to Inverness I've got to make sure I fill up in Keith. I'll be heading back along A96 (Inv-Abdn) this evening (silver R33 GTR) so any info on likely police activity would be cool! Already had a 4 month ban and don't want another. Cheers,
Hamish

Excellent !! Thanks Hamish. Should just about make Perth to Elgin on a tank.
I won't be in the area till tomorrow, but look out for a deep purple R33 if you're out and about.
Cheers

No, just visiting the parents.
They stay up that way and bought me a golf membership (up there ) for my birthday, so I'm going to head up and hope for good weather ! Cunning plan to get me up there more often I believe..... just a shame it costs £100 in petrol to get there and back !!
I'll take the P1 next time I think, but thought it's about time I took the GTR for a decent trip. The furthest it's been so far is Stirling, and I wasn't even in it !!!

Hi Mikey,
Yep, spotted a few scoobs in Elgin. Your one and a sonic blue X reg. Good lookin' car mate
I popped my head into the show and shine to see if there were any interesting motors. A couple of evos, some nice old historic cars and some American armchairs , but mostly Saxos/clios etc. A bit disappointing . I should have entered the GTR, it seemed to turn some heads !
Got my Optimax fill in Elgin in the end anyway, so thanks for the map SCOsaltire
