If a lot of interest will prob go with the majority, if not then it will be on Tuesday 10 June at Showcase Coatbridge. Please give me your feedback folks.
Sorry I haven't posted sooner but been having pc probs....
Cheers J

How about sunday, meet up at the showcase then have a sunday drive up the west coast, stop somewhere nice an ave a late lunch, head up west then east past glencoe towards cairnlarich then back down to glasgow, approx 3-4 hr run taking in some smashin driving roads. can route plan then hand out maps on the sunday, much more fun i reckon. Done a similar run with the elise club, loads of fun on the roads out cars drive best on.

Wot u like Dougster
To save a lot of hassle we could just make the June meet at Showcase on the Tuesday night?
Chrisd, one day mate, you'll manage to convince the fellow scoobynetters to go for one of theses runs, just have faith...
leading on from Dougster about NBO, I was thinking of making something happen and posting a sign in for a central Scotland big one in early August? Possibly meeting somewhere near Falkirk to attract all the scoobs from Edi, Gla, Falkirk, Stirling, Perth and anyone else willing to travel to it from the UK. Dunno wot the response would be like though? Wot do u guys here think? Cheers

Never mind the boring roads, you can come along on Friday night with the Elises for some twisties and BBQ fun. Guys, I am sure some Scoobs would be welcome so e-mail me for details if you want a wee run this Friday night.

Is there going to be a Tuesday meet in June then or are we all saving ourselves for the NBO.

ps Can someone help me out with the name of the guy who took my Dawes Device and has not stumped up the cash for it yet after 8 weeks. Not even a bl**dy E Mail, he seemed an alright guy.

Iain, are you elises goin North THIS Friday night to enjoy the eclipse on 4am Saturday? Anyone else?
Eclipse would be most spectacular from a hill because it will be nearly as early as sunrise, and you won't see it in a city I suppose.

Didn't even know it was an eclipse this Friday. Would be nice to see but reckon even the Elises will be tucked up in bed at 4am :-)
We are going North but not too far from Glasgow.

Well despite crazy weather all afternoon our run turned out dry. About 10 Elises and a VX220 Turbo turned up, with the furtherest travelled being TUT who came down from Aberdeeenshire for the run. Had a few great runs back and forward along the Dukes Pass before settling down to a BBQ and the usual auto chit chat. Did spot an Evo on the pass. I came back down over the Campsies via Fintry and Lennoxtown which is a nice run back from Aberfoyle. Didn't stay for the Eclipse though. Great roads and only used £10 of petrol all night as well.

Nice one Iain.
Love the Duke's Pass and work in an old castle on the Fintry Road.
Should have got my finger out and came along in the scoob.
Wish I could get the Glasgow boys to go out that way!!

Was a realy enjoyable evening. The only thing I don't like about going up to the Dukes Pass is the bit between Strathclyde Park and Lennoxtown. It is pretty boring and just seems to take ages. The Lennoxtown to Fintry and on up to Port of Monteith is good fun as well. Where was that biker's pub you have mentioned before?
Need to try and come up with some local run for the next Glasgow meet which I hope to make it along to.

The Kebab went down a treat, though did put it back on the barbie as I think it should not have been bleeding. Stomach fine today so must have been okay in the end. Had another BBQ for Skye and her wee pals tonight so think I could go without one for a few days now. Off to MMC tomorrow for an Elise health check and then maybe a wee run in the borders with Skye riding shotgun.
