I'll be going to spectate. I'll be bringing my 12 year old nephew. It's his birthday on the 24th. I was wondering if anyone could offer him a few passenger laps. I'd appreciate it if you can. Thanks

Driver sign on 8am then open pit lane from 9am to 1pm. There is no entry fee for spectators or passengers and you don't have to be a SIDC member. Passengers must sign on and have a wristband. Helmets can be borrowed from Knockhill helmet store. I don't think there are many places left for those wanting to take their cars on track, so best contact JohnS asap.

I'll be there, but only for a short while as I'll have young Skye with me and we are heading to a kids birthday party in Dundee later in the morning (imagine having a birthday party on an SIDC Morning !!!!!) So doubt I'll get out with anybody. Have had Skye around Kames in my Elise but she has never been on at Knockhill. Maybe for her 5th birthday :-)

Iain

Foz01,
Cheers for the offer. I told my nephew that someone had offered him a passenger ride round the track and he's really looking forward to it.
Thanks, much appreciated.

I'll be there and willing to give pax laps, if anyone want to ride with a Tosser. (Debadged Black STi7 with WRX spoiler)

I will ask Numptie if he is bringing the pax welcome stickers to put on the side window of cars where passengers are welcome.

last time i was there i was too shy to ask for pax laps, felt kinda dodgy about asking, so should i just go up to people and chance it this time? (not wanting to sound too cheeky)

corpulent tosser would there be any chance of a wee pax lap or two?

sambio sei

Still cleaning up the sick from the inside of my car from the last time I gave you pax laps around Knockhill!!! Just joking!

I am sure the Pax Laps stickers will be in operation but if not give me a shout and I'll point you in the direction of drivers who will give you a pax lap.

MIght even manage one or two pax laps with somebody myself as it looks like I might have a volunteer to look after Skye for a few laps. Got to leave about 9:30 ish to get to a kids birthday party in Dundee. Skyline or Boxter would be good as they are about the only things I don't have pax video from.

Sy,

I'm going, but you knew that anyway.
What's this about "using my slicks". Does that mean you've decided to buy my old ones.
Your side skirts arrived this morning, so they'll be painted up for the weekend.

There are a couple of spaces left for driving on Saturday, but you'll need to contact me asap, as the club shop (http://shop.sidc.co.uk) will be closing for orders either this evening, or tomorrow morning.

I'll also be out of the office all day tomorrow, so info packs will be e-mailed out on Thursday.

Numptie has kindly agreed to do the passenger laps stickers again

See you all there at 8am on Saturday morning.

This event is now fully booked, so anyone else wanting to go out on track driving, will have to go in the reserve list I'm afraid (and there's already a couple of cars in there!).

Looks like it's going to be a fun session, just hope the weather is nice and dry

John
