Yup... the guy was certainly cutting all the red tape .... then sticking it all over his car
Mind you Adam, I thought he could have taken you over the 1/4 mile if he'd done some subtle weight reductions........ like losing the 8 rolls of tape

Had a race with the above car and held him right to the line does anyone know who he is? Need to know if he fluffed a gear change or not (only half a car in it)?
Also does anyone else noticed that Crails times are way way higher than they were last year. Do they add the reaction time onto the 1/4 mile run this year?
Was a good day and I cant beleive it didnt rain with some of those huge black clouds hanging about! (I left 1:30) Also it was a NED free zone which was nice.
My bro videod it from behind, cant really tell what happened tho
Vid Here

Moses I compressed it using Windows Media Player 9, you may have to download the latest Windows Media files at http://download.microsoft.com, hope this helps!

Adam,
What do you reckon to the times, I am at least 0.6 slower than last year and at most a full second! Do they add the reaction times to the 1/4 mile time, that would explain a lot!
Chris - Neil = 15.1 Me - 15.6
I'm sure last year Neil would have been closer to 14.7/8 and I would have been 14.9/15.0.

T*** RSC didn't seem to be running too well today which is probably why you stayed with him. Matts s/c vts totally toasted it
Adam - see thread in general *cough* Git *cough*
Was gutted you clio boys left so early I really wanted to take on the cup I got 13.4 dead at 103mph. I raced a standard 106 GTI to see how far I've come (same as standard vts remember) I pulled a big lead so I'm quite chuffed.
To get the cars time subtract the reaction time from the 1/4m time as it is added in (I checked)

Vib,
My best was a 15.2 and neils was a 14.9.
He said he was spinning in first when he raced you, his launches were good all day though. Must of been the pressure of coming up against an experienced campaigner!

I thought the dude with J* HUM drove an old style Civic and I saw that plate on a new style Seat Ibiza in Aberdeen two weeks ago ??
His old Civic had 2 twin exit pipes and looked totally OTT IMHO

Calum - The Ibiza belongs to my brother and I have the Impreza. His old car may have looked OTT (your opinion only and not the one of a lot of people!) but it was quick!
He ran my car a few times so show what what the car is cabable of in either of our hands.
Clear?
Russell
ps Saxo boy - only ran 1.35 bar at the end......HMMMM 1.5 next?
