Windows fogged up worse than ever.Turned to cold then steam stopped!!Back to hot again STEAM every where!

What could be the cause of this? Heater Matrix gone? How big a job is this? and has anyone else experienced this?

Yep, mine did exactly that - is it a kinda bluey mist? Check in the passenger footwell for damp carpets (mine pissed coolant in the missus's handbag, which went down really well ).
Also, check for deposits where the coolant pipes enter the firewall from the engine bay into the cabin. For a running repair, the heater matrix can be disconnected by connecting these two pipes together.
IIRC, mine was £400 or so to get fixed. Hope we are wrong and it is something else....
Edit to say, yep it's a dash out job. A LOT of work
