1. Truffles Club, 120 laps, Fastest 56.93 on lap 102
2. Jammy Gits, 117 laps, gap 2 laps, fastest 57.37 on lap 110
3. Sonic Blue, 117 Laps, gap 4.65 seconds, fastest 58.71 on lap 42
4. Team Tiv, 116 laps, gap 27.37 secs, fastest 57.31 on laps 79
5. S-E, 115 laps, gap 36.06 secs, fastest 57.39 on lap 114
6. Mercenaries, 114 laps, gap 53.89 secs, fastest 55.65 on lap 101
7. Team Sneddon, 113 laps, gap 6.25 secs, fastest 59.24 on lap 78
8. Crailthrashers, 112 laps, gap 44.76 secs, fastest 57.64 on lap 39
9. Tech-Net, 110 laps, gap 1 lap, fastest 58.08 on lap 44
10. GTRoc, 109 laps, gap 27.56 seconds, fastest 58.25 on lap 107.
As you can see, the results were remarkably close, with only a handful of seconds sepearating each of the places. Interestingly, the team (my team ) which came 3rd had the 2nd slowest fastest lap time, which just goes to show that consistency and staying out of trouble pays dividends.
Hope to see you all there again next time, though I doubt we'll manage to score weather like that again!

Had an absolutely great time. Of course the sunny weather doesn't do my team any favours (we like it a little wetter) and having to contend with not one, but two mechanical failures meant we were obviously deeply disappointed by our final placing ;-)
I am vaguely amused by the increase in bruising to hip bones when we have good weather and a very sticky track. I guess it shows that we're trying hard!

If any team needs to go on a diet/fitness regime, then it must be those who started in pole position (for haveing the heaviest average weight). Might be easier if I just hacked my left leg off

How many people would be interested in an event in Aberdeen ?

Curry and beers after an Aberdeen event can easily be arranged
I'll have to say that the Aberdeen venue is indoors, and the track is much shorter, with perhaps a 20 - 25 second lap time. It's also much tighter, so passing is more of a problem. It's a polished concrete surface, so a bit slippier in places.
