just to let u know what happened to me recenetly regarding PPP and insurance, i had a my00 uk turbo, 1 owner me and bought from a local dealer, i got the ppp fitted about 8 months after buying it but thought it was 5h1te and a waste of money so get another garage to take it off, i then sold it and eventually stuck with the standard set up as i was thinking about changing cars, well unfortunately my car was wrote off and a total loss and my insurance company (NUD)were all set to pay out till their engineer informed them that i had a ppp fitted and as i didnt tell them that invalidated the insurance and they refused to pay out. i informed them that i had it taken off and if they looked at the back of the car they would see it is a standard exhaust and not a prodrive exhaust, i also told them that i would get a letter from the garage to confirm that it was taken off and put back to standard, they informed me that a letter would be good enough and they would also check the exhaust. but i dont know how they found out about the PPP but they gave me the exact date it was fitted, so just a word of warning i would be very careful about mods like the PPP etc etc, i was lucky very lucky.
