I feel as though i must let you all know what the score was with robins car, As there is always two sides to a story one of witch being the truth. the simple fact is that the car was running too high a boost psi for what robin had spent on it,
there was no fuel pump upgrade or fse fuel pressure requlator to control the fueling on the car as robin skipped on this.
As well as saftey products like a knocklink e.t.c
The engine rebuild that we had been instructed to carry out on this car after it melted a piston at knockhill was not what we recommended (new shortblock) he decided to do it on the cheap by just replacing the melted piston with a new genuine subaru one this was done at his request against our recommendation.
All parts supplied and fitted were all genuine subaru as we use this only on rebuilds.
After the problems with the childish manner that we had to put up with when we were asked to do the wheel studs and the ap brake kit problem. (were fitted to ap instructions)
He lost the plot about the brakes. And took it out on us and A P
When the car was finally collected we were glad to see the back of him only to get a call 20mins after to tell us it had popped this was no surprise to us as it did'nt sound healthy from day one
it arrived.
Only if some customer would listen to what we recommend these situation could unavoidable.

I don't think this is the time or place for Round 2 to commence, this should be dealt with offline. If it strays from Robin's original request, the thread will be locked.
