never mind Crail ,why not head down to Charterhall airfield outside the village of Duns to watch the 1st round of the Scottish Tarmac Rally Ch/ship.
Usually plenty of scoobs and evos.
Just a thought!!!

Negri,
I'm going along with quite a few fellow RS owners. The format will be the usual run-wot-u-brung but Performance Ford mag will be there to cover the fastest RS's. It will be frowned upon if any scooby owners turn up to show us up by beating RS's down the strip.

Negri, to get to Charterhall airfield head down the A68 through dalkeith ,passed the big windmills on Soutra Hill, turn left at the Carfraemill roundabout and keep going till you hit the village of Greenlaw.
Go straight through Greenlaw until you see Orange arrows pointing left and just follow them from there on into the airfield.
Action starts at 09.01hrs and there is an 80 car entry with 8 scoobs,2 Evo 7s and an evo 6 amongst the usual array of mark2s astras, novas etc etc.
Plenty of parking(free i think) and a whole day of unrestricted spectating in a very close to the action compact venue.
we are running car no 26 the green Opel corsa,if anybody is coming down, come into the service area and say hello.
I have the Y plate wagon with Morrettes.
Or you could just call me if you need any more info or get lost!!

Good luck lasted until stage 3 when we blew the diff right out of the bell housing.
Stripped down and removed box today to find crown wheel and pinion in more bits than manufacturer recommended,
Still the good thing is the 2k quaife cluster is okay.
Will be repaired and tested prior to our next outing at Ingliston on the 26th April.
Still dont know how much though!!!
