Anyone know any really good wedding photographers

Know the one for you mate...
Excellent and professional results.
Catch Photography in Kirkcaldy, ask for Ivan and say you know Alan with the silver Subaru. He may give you a discount.

My mate here is a top photographer, he used to work weddings a lot, some 30-40 weddings a year for several years in a row. Name is Denis. I wonder if Ivan is a russian too?
Denis lives in Glasgow, and works just 4 metres away from me. Covering Edinbourgh shouldnt be a problem. Photos are top quality, but russian photo style may sligtly differ from what scots are used to.
His e-mail is denislife_AT_mail.ru (replace "_AT_" with "@").
Sure he has a portfolio to show somewhere online, mail him for address.
I recon he's been to a couple of weddings here and did use his camera.

If you're after originals, I don't think Denis wouldn't give you negatives.
Digital SLRs are bloody expensive AFAIK, only businesses and rich individuals will have them
Send Denis a no-obligation e-mail
I know he doesn't have a digital SLR, though he has a decent 35mm SLR and several lenses to choose, and a good film scanner too. And he's not trying to save on film when doing weddings!
If you want anything digital immediately I can lend my 3Mpixel sony camera but decent 35mm SLR gives way better picture quality.
re-reading this post, I start thinking I'm on comission No, I'm not. :-P

I've already been told that nearly all decent Edinburgh wedding photographers now use digital.
One I spoke to had 3 of the latest Nikon SLRs (£8k a shot!), but he is busy.
