Anyone got any suggestions for a pub in or around Crief for some lunch this Sunday??
Needs to have a big car park (enough for about 30 cars )
Cheers

Hi
I live in Crieff, and yes the Hydro lower car park is big but also busy on a Sunday. I would suggest the Amulree Hotel (10 miles)north of Crieff - big car park and blinding road (Sma' Glen). The owner is a car enthusiast IIRC and they have rallies there. I would phone them first to let them know numbers!
Look it up on Multimap here:-

(Sorry, forgotten how to paste URLs)

cheers for the responses. I meant to say Saturday in the post, and have sorted a few tables at the Murraypark hotel...
Is this other place better? There will be about 25 cars going...

Murraypark is actually OK and is in Crieff. I didn't think that the Car park is that big however.
The Amulree is more pubby and the road up there is definitely worth it! Depends what route you are taking. You can also get to Amulree from Aberfeldy or Dunkeld quite easily. No cops around there (except in the towns), so it's a blast!
I regularly ride or Elise it from Crieff to Lochearnhead then round Loch Tay to Aberfeldy then back to Crieff. And the last 20 miles to Crieff definitely leaves a big grin

Thanks for your suggestion - we all had a great day out! I came back to Aberdeen from Amulree through Blairgowrie 7 Kirriemuir... what a blast!! Fantastic road! And I think I am about to become the proud owner of an Ibiza Cupra with APR chip etc

Food was excellent (best cheeseburger I have had in a while )
The place is pretty big inside, and so can accomodate quite a few folk - we had no problem and there was just over 20 of us. It did look a bit like Guest House Paradiso though....
The drive there was brilliant, and the drive back north was even better.
Definitely recommend it to folk looking for a day out.
