Glasgow Meet - Good Turnout
#1
Good turnout at Coatbridge tonight Had to leave early to get Skye to bed but managed a couple of photos beforehand. The camera shake is only because the camera was also shivering.

Bloody cold. Apple pie was good though.
Nice to see a good turn-out. Looking forward to the next one.
How about a Sunday one soon and I could organise a little drive after we all meet up?

Good to see so many scooby's in one place and at the same time. It was Bit cold Iain, but otherwise brill. Roll on next one. I nominate Benidorm. But only for the weather you understand.

what a smashin sight to see so many polished and shiny scoobs, the manager from the bowling was a little shocked i would say, good to put names to faces and to talk ****e about scoobys. got to say i loved trucker teds funky neon footwell lights, very classy, lookin forward to the next one.
we will have to start the discussions on what and where the next one will be, i reckon a bit of a drive with the 20 or so cars from last night would certainly turn heads.
cheers

Fantastic news about the good turn out
Seems like you have more than enough people to start a regular meeting like we do in Aberdeen. Doesn't matter how many people turn up, and it's good to get the cars together, discuss latest/future changes, plan local events etc.
Why not choose a date and venue such as we have done in Aberdeen (first Tuesday every month at a good local pub with plenty of parking), and we'll get it e-mailed to all SIDC members, published on the website as a regular event, appear in True Grip etc. and hopefully get things going from strength to strength.
The reason we chose a midweek evening, is that most people can make it (better than watching soaps on TV ), and that a lot of people can't make certain weekend events due to other committments.

yep quite a turnout, maybe we should have went into the bowling though cos the pubs not the best place to go when 95% of us are driving another orange juice anyone?
hopefully get a meet either during the day at the weekend or early evening again once the clocks change so we can see the cars properly without that mystical orange tinge!
lets keep the ball rolling now it's started
