Something really bizarre though, he has a large golden retriever sitting upright in the passenger seat

This morning, I witnessed some pretty desperate driving from a guy in a silver Vauxhall Astra (maybe a GSi but I'm not too good on Vauxhalls). It's pretty shiny.
This is the second time I've seen him heading to town from Banchory in the morning, driving like this.
An example is a stretch of lazy bends with double white lines all the way. It looks like you can see ahead but you can't once you're across the line. He took a line of three cars there.
Something really bizarre though, he has a large golden retriever sitting upright in the passenger seat.
Anyone seen him ?
If you do, give him a wide berth and just let him past.
