There aren't that many places nearby Aberdeen to get these cars serviced.
Probably the closest is Brian Downie in Kemnay, or perhaps Sunnyhill Motors in Turriff.
The ex franchise dealers at Forres (Reekie) will now service any make/model of Subaru, and can supply any parts required. They have Subaru trained technicians, all the proper tools etc., and sensible labour rates.
A bit further afield, most of the guys on here use AWD Motorsport in Perth, or Falkland Performance Centre in Glenrothes.
Having said that, there are a number of specialist garages in the Aberdeen area who are competent enough to carry out the basic servicing requirements, though you may have to give them a bit of notice so they can get the parts in, rather than having them off the shelf so to speak.

What's up with Falkland these days Had nothing but good advice and help from them over the years. Don't use them much since I got the Sti 7 last Jan and having now fitted PPP, but when I modded the old MY99 wagon, they were first class
I used to do over 250 miles to go there and back.

I'll stick with AWD thanks
Heard interesting stories about a place in Glenrothes, unfortunately my source (a colleague with a STi5 wagon) couldn't remember which one, was highly unimpressed with the attitude of the staff there.

Oh another point, does Brian Downie only service cars he has sold? My mate with the silver ur quattro, purchased from there, was told that by him....

jools went 2 falkland years ago with a vauxhall 16v and they ripped me off and put on sub standard gear and fobbed me off when i went back 2 them.
lastyear 1 of my mates offshore bought a wrx scoob and had a bit of a splutter and low boost problem, he wanted 2 go 2 falkland 2 get it fixed, i tried 2 persuade him otherwise but he thought they were the best place 2 go so i went with him (250 mile round trip 4 him) got there and told the guy the problem and he said no bother, came back about 3 hours later and there is a young trainee looking at it when the rest r scratching their heads and looking puzzled, they tried 2 fob us off about the plugs and leads, so changed them and went home after listening 2 them getting muddled up and admitting they didnt really know
250 mile round trip and about £200 wasted money
AWD fixed it the next week in about 30 mins!!!!
once could have been looked upon as a bad day and mistake by them but twice is 2 much of a coincidence as far as im concerned!!!
wouldnt even let clean my windows in my car after that.

I used Brian Downie to service the scoob (45K) and I am very happy with the work carried out.
I believe he services any car?? Dont quote me on that though, best to phone and check.
