Moses,
I've got a set of EBC's on my MY00 with green stuff pads, I'm pretty disappointed with them to be honest.
Under normal breaking they don't feel any different to the standard discs that came off and under heavy breaking the anti lock breaking doesn't know what to do with them and feels unstanble.
Just my opinion, don't know if anyone else has tried them.
Cheers
Scott

Hi Guys
Colin from Motorsport World here. We are in Strathaven near Hamilton. We sell Green Stuff etc but even EBC now tell the trade not to sell Green Stuff for the front of cars like Scoobies and EVO's. They will tell you that they 'work over a wide temperature range' but what this means is that they get too hot in heavy use applications - ie powerful 4 wheel drive cars. (Too hot = warped or cracked discs) They advise you use Red Stuff instead. I'd also advise other pads....Mintex, Pagid, Ferodo
I've just had my man Simon fit Green Stuff to the rear of my Scoob today along with nice Black Diamond Combis - they're fine there

A recent customer told me that no matter what he used on his EVO the discs warped - he was after us for Black Diamond discs as almost throw away items because we sell them so cheap!

I'd stay clear of EBC disc/pad combo. I've these fitted and I get bigger than standard fade. Thinking of reverting back to standard setup until the wallet allows the big conversion, unless someone can offer a cheaper alternative to fit 2 pot calipers.

Shocker, we're in the small industrial estate just off the Hamilton Road - the Peugeot dealer is on the corner. Follow the signs to the dump - we're 2 units away from it - not as horrible as it sounds, honest!
However, I only use the unit as cheap office space at present but...I'm organising taking on the unit next door to have a retail outlet which I aim to open Jan/Feb next year - scarey times! Most of last years profits are getting plunged into this and setting up a fitting operation in the existing unit. The sleepless nights have started.....
But if anyone wants to pop in and talk Scoobies you're more than welcome!

Is it the turbo grooves you have on? If so, they seem to be fine on all applications I can think of. It's the EBC pads you have to be carefull with in cars like Scoobies. I keep hearing how wonderful Pagid Blues are and am thinking of putting them on with my Black Diamond Combis. I think they'd work well on the Turbo Grooves too. They are the most expensive I know of though.
