Thumbs up

Treated myself to the Origin Blue i speedtrap locator today, from Networx in Lanark (£369...deal carried on from the motor show) So far I'm well impressed with the unit. Very easy to install and set-up.

Decided to go for a drive by the M9/M8 underpass. Unit alarmed on approaching junction (set distance 200 - 2000m) and indicated the location of ALL the cameras in turn, once it knew my direction it focused on the unit on the road I was on. It also indicated the units on the other side of the road, but did not alarm as these were not a threat. Set up the limitator function and drove through again sticking under the limit. The GPS unit did not alarm as I was under the speed limit...apparently lessens false alarms, but it silently shows they are there on the screen.

The speed indicator from the 'Sat Triangulation'.....oooeeer' is a decent feature, although I nearly rear-ended a Scoob while playing with the set-up. (Silver Wagon...if it was you....sorry')

So far a good bit of kit, only time and travel will tell of it's worth.

...John
