Question

Is there anyone local who knows how to set up the Link system available to help me change the settings on my scoob? I have unfortunately managed to reset mine to the standard map.

I have had some help from folk in the past, but do not want to impose my self on them again, unless they are willing.

I have a ukmy99 running the link, knocklink, lambda link, 3" s/s decat from turbo, k+n and a hybrid turbo. Last time at star, without the turbo, made 270lbft at 3500 ish.

I have the hand held, but not the data link, but can get a laptop if required (Q chip fitted). I am willing to travel almost anytime and as far down as edinburgh/glasgow ish from aberdeen - maybe to star this weekend? will also be at town and county thing at knockhill on 8th.

Would be more than willing to cover expenses and a few beers if assisted

Speak to Sam, he's probably better placed geographically to help you out.

He's done a few in his time...

Alan,

It was sam who helped initially, I have sent him an email this morning, so just seeing if he is willing, or if he still has my original map.

If you can get a hold of a laptop, it will be quicker and easier to load your map back in.

Takes ages with the handheld, especially with the "Q" chip.

Remember though, if Sam has your map in his files, you will still have to have it altered for the change in turbo you now run

Just a thought before you map it with the new turbo - you might want to consider an uprated fuel pump depending on how hard you are pushing things. Probably a good idea anyway, and no point in doing it after the map to redo the map again. How much boost are you running and how big is the turbo?

Might be worth travelling down to see "the man himself" as this is what I am doing in November once the FMIC is (finally ) fitted!\

Other than that good luck with seeing if Sam can save the day (hope he can!)
