The go to people in scotland?
Who are the go to specialist/tuners to go to in Scotland? From my time of owning the focus RS i seem to remember GI motorsports in Kilmarnock being popular with Scoobies. Any other ones?

Hi mate,
not many people check in on this area of SN. Depends where you are & what you want doing. I’m near Glasgow & use Automek in East Kilbride, great bunch of guys. They do all the work on both my Scoobs (one a U.K., one a JDM). Great service & always full of various vehicles from old school Hondas, to Evos, Scoobs, then high end stuff like Aston Martins, R8s, Hugh amount of Porsche’s etc etc. GTRs by the handful. Only issue I have with them is they are good, therefore busy!
You then have RA Motorsport out Perth way, have used them & they were very good as well (another) Andy is co owner, they are more a Scoob specialist, but again Evo, fast ford etc always in there. Andy F used to do mapping there (think he still does but only once a month, could very easily be wrong).
Really all depends what you want doing and where you are.
i am slightly Automek biased but RA have never let me down either. Automek is easier for me to use. Must add though their after care has always been great.
even if I just want a bit of advice & I can’t content myself I have the answer from my own research I can pop in & ask & they will still help & are yet to be proven wrong.
Main players are Dan (usually answers phones). Ask him about his Motorsport background in Germany, interesting & varied background around the ring, & Andy (owner). But the rest of the lads are great as well. Their Lotus beats 1000bhp Scoobs & guys running Scoobs in excess of 1200, nearer 1500bhp Scoobs do business there. Not a bad rep really.
