Ive just bought a Scoobysport up-pipe. Its for my 93wrx.

It should be delivered tomorrow.

The story is that i didnt do my research. I didnt realise that its quite a labour intensive job. At the minute, i cant afford to get it fitted so its just going to sit around for a bundle of months.

So - i'm just trying to guage if anybody would be interested buying it off me when it arrives.

It's not that bad a job to do.

There is more than one way to skin a cat, but my pref is

Downpipe off
Turbo off
Unbolt lower up-pipe bolts.
Remove old and refit new up-pipe
Refit turbo
Refit downpipe

All depends on garage labour rates but at say £20 an hour, it should take a leisurely 3 hours, so only 60 quid.

I better get a quote.

Ive been using Falkland Performance as they replaced my engine when it went.

See what they have to say. See the thing is, if your going to replace the up-pipe, what about getting the headers ported etc and so it goes on - do you know what i mean!!!

You can do the headers in the future after having the up-pipe done if you want.

You don't have to get it all done at the one time.

The exhaust manifold unbolts from the cylinder heads and up-pipe without taking the turbo off.

All you need to do is jack the car up, undo the heatshields on the manifolds, undo the up-pipes bottom bolts and undo and remove the manifolds from their respective heads.
Then it's a case of porting the manifold pipework to suit and refit.

Yeah Pete, would be good to meet up with ya again in the near future.

Ask Sam what the car's like now, though feels a bit stronger since he last drove it.
