Fuel hoses perishing is one I'd be looking for buddy along with seized calipers, and the brake fluid changing.

Discs and pads : Pagid from Euro Car Parts

Shocks : KYB's from ECP above. Although whilst speaking to Alyn @ AS Performance a while back, the knocking rear dampers is a bit of a design fault due to the damper and how they are mounted, IIRC.

Should be able to pick up a decent bumper for reasonable money from the likes of Matt and Scott in the traders section on here.

Take it easy when you start driving it, theres all manner of things that could go wrong with it having been stood so long.

It's due a timing belt for starters, so a proper service is in order.

If I was going to start using it I would give it a major service, it will have probably done more harm sat doing nothing than it would have if it was in use.

Cambelt, aux belt water pump etc

Change all fluids also.

Alyn at AS performance will sort all parts at a great price.

I would seriously reconsider and do the cam belt if I were you.

Change all fluids and belts as a minimum!

If it's been standing and not used properly for a long time it can get a rust and sludge build up in the fuel tank which can lead to bad running or not feeling like it should, a friend from the Welsh section had not used his for a few years and had this problem , worth checking tank and pump is clean , also not using car can make rubber bushes go and tyres start to have flat spots and crack especially on the insides of the tyre that you can't see unless you look under car

I would imagine the fuel in it has gone off too so I wouldn't drive it in boost.

Interesting thread, maybe invest in a battery conditioner

I went for the Godspeed Kevlar kit and have found them decent enough on identical car.
