Nice portfolio on your site DW
I was wondering if there were any other members here with RB5's that you knew of! Would like a chat with them sometime to see if they've gone down the modifying route!

Hello and welcome
I bought my RB5 about 8 months ago now and have loved every mile.
it's done 19K so far.
I've only done small mods because i didn't want to change the SE spec of the car here's a list of what I've done:
K&N panel filter
Clear indicators front/side (rear red/clear on the way)
Body coloured orange wedges
Mesh intercooler cover
origin blue i gps camera detector
Kenwood Cd player
Not a lot but I'm happy with the car. The next thing is the brakes but £1600 to sort them ouch

Welcome Gavin.
Watch out for Scoobynet it will inflict you with a disease called moditis. Symptoms include lying awake at night dreaming how to make you car perform better, problems with bank managers, familiarity with all sorts of anorak details about Scoobies, and no doubt you will get sucked into track days if you haven't already. Deny it will happen to you and you will only suffer the disease worse. Lack of insight into the condition suggests a poor prognosis.

Welcome!!
Glad to see that there are a growing number of RB5 owners on here. On the subject of modding limited edition cars, it is not easy, what I tend to do with mine is ensure that any changes can be reversed if nessesary, and therefore when the time comes to sell the car, it can be put back to original spec.

Welcome R.B.5. By the time you have graduated from The University of Scoobynet, you would've gained enough knowledge to surpass even the UK Subaru Technicians. Just try to no join the Muppets here or all you'll ever do is try to chat up new female members. Speaking of which, a/s/l? (just in case )

lol, this forum rox, so many nice people on here it's uncanny. I used to visit Audi-sport.net and post there quite often but found the members kinda boring and half weren't even bothered about posting back. A/S/L katana :- 25/Male/Bridgend - Wales.
Looks like there are a good few people on here with RB5's which is good to know! I wonder how many are actually left if you count the ones that have been wrote off, stolen and crashed et etc!
As for Moditis, well what can i say, early symptoms are already appearing and i fear its a long slippery slope for me and my disease from here on in.
Thanks for the awesome welcome people!
Gavin
P.S had me a race last night with an Integra Type R, hehe, he was just a white object in the rear view after a few gear changes :P

Hi there too !
Might as well join the throng, even though I've posted a couple of messages already this week.
I'm going to pick up the_Gza's Sonic Blue beauty tomorrow after many years driving mediocre cars (goodbye forever Ford!).
My life's about to change in many ways too over the coming weeks; turned 30 on Tuesday, getting married two weeks today in Vegas, new house in 3 weeks, and now a new Scoob.
I've only been on this site for three days and I'm already hooked !
The folks here are superb and reading some of the threads is a welcome distraction from work I can tell ya.
Looking forward to dishing out my first wave to a fellow Scooby Nut.
Stay Frosty

Always said that I wouldn't catch moditis, but it only took just over a month before I started - now my shopping list could easily stretch into £000's.
Good to see more new members .... remember shiny side up!!
