Them mods will see you to about 270-280 I think mate, turbo would probably be maxed out if it's a td04 turbo, you would probably need td05 of vf34 or similar, pink sti injectors 255l fuel pump 3 port and decent panel filter.

Not 100% sure mate as people say different things! I've got a td05 waiting to go on mine, from what I can gather the td05 is better for top end as the vf34 spools up slightly quicker but then dies of in the higher revs, I'm sure someone will be along to correct me if I'm wrong, try searching the forum for the differences mate, there's 1000s of different threads about these turbos

VF34 will spool up quick, TD05 is a old turbo now you will make the numbers with this turbo but I find them a bit laggy for my liking!!

Also depends how much you want to spend?? as Tidgy said a SC32 would be a really good turbo, but new there over a £1k, used there about £700-800, where as a VF34 will probably set you back £350-400

Heard the vf43-48 can be laggy on a 2 litre, there great on the 2,5 litre though!!

Best to look at some rolling road graphs and see when the turbo's make full boost, before you make your mind up, Dont just buy a turbo because it says it can make 400bhp, because its no good if you got a power band of 5000rpm-7500rpm!!

I would of thought that the vf43 and 48 would perform ok on 2litres but on the 2.5litres they perform even better .abit like a 20g on a 2l good but obviously even better on 2.5l

I've gone down the Andy Forrest hybrid TD04 route getting fitted and mapped in 2 weeks with Sti tmic, 650cc injectors, Sti manifold, Sti up pipe, induction kit, already got a hrc fuel pump and 3port boost solenoid, hoping to see over the 300mark maybe a route for you to consider ?

Full boost at 2500rpm to

Sam
