FAO PTMW - Backbox Update?

A backbox and mid section will increase responsiveness so that it *feels* much faster, as puff said. It's not been dynoed yet. If you look at the scoobysport website for example you'll see some dyno printouts that back up what puff said.

Not really Neil - I would have thought a Ram Air Pod plus 97RON makes more of a difference than just the BB.....
Now a direct before and after would be interesting.....

We did do some direct comparisons. STi 4... 283bhp before, 301 bhp after. This was done in front of about 40 people at a PE rolling road day. There are other comparisons on the dyno site. Ram air Pod???
Anyway, we are talking at cross purposes.
With regard to Puff's new kit, lets just say it came as a "pack" and not from us
Of course I could not discuss the specific details of anything we fit to a customers car.

Oops - just re-read it - it's a Ram Air Filter right? Same thing applies though except...

I'd luv to get the Scoobysport backbox, and understand that this is a permissable performance modification in the eyes of the Scooby dealers and insurers..........
How about the "centre section" i.e warranty issues etc

Ho! Ho!
I didn't realise there would be such an interest into what made Puff The Magic Wagon! so Magic
Not withstanding the fact that PTMW! has hauled in & overtaken the complete range of scoobs on track ( ), I felt that a slight performance increase was in order This is mainly to be able to dispense more easily those with more powerful cars, who believe that they are quicker + the need for a bit of aural stimulation (that is aural - not **** ).
I was lucky enough to be able to obtain the components of the PPP & had them fitted at SS on Tuesday (Don't all jump to conclusions 'cos its nothing to do with Harj )
Suffice to say, I'm chuffed to puff ( ) & consider it a worthwhile modification. Granted that I've not bought new & via a dealer, but budgetry constraints & not to mention wifely constraints precluded
For those that are interested, PTMW! has wheelspin out of corners and roundabouts, where before there was none Roll-on driving/acceleration is much enhanced, providing that extra acceleration required to reduce your TED - ergo safer. The sound is luverly - quiet as a mouse on tickover, a roar under strong acceleration and a strange but engaging "whroosh" under max acceleration. Anyone considering Gregh's deal - just sign up & go for it!
It was not my intention to mislead the population of scoobynet, but I was originally thanking my wife for allowing me to finally have a back box
As to the source of my good fortune? Well, there's a lot of deals to be had on the bbs, some that aren't directly advertised, so it pays to keep your eyes peeled
You've had PPPuff The Magic Wagon! - watch out for P1 Puff The Magic Wagon!
