Armrest Storage Thing...
Hi guys,
This a bit of an odd one to be looking for advise on I know, but can't find a solution from web searches so hoping someone might be able to help!
Noticed a few months ago that the lid on my armrest won't close anymore. It can be pushed closed but the catch seems to have developed a fault so the lid always sits proud unless you're leaning on it - quality interior! . Bit of a pain as I'm always catching my elbow on it too.
Can anyone tell from these pics what the fault and fix might be? Can't find any parts that may have broken off. Its a 2009 WRX car so out of warranty.
May try my local garage but thought I would ask first to see if it were anything obvious.
Cheers
GC

Cheers chaps.
Followed advice and had the lid apart but the catch looks to use positive resistance from the lid plastics to catch in place - no springs or mounts for one.
Got me stumped so ordered the armrest extension thing from Hammonds. I'm on the motorway all the time anyway so hopefully make for a more comfortable journey than that broken plastic thing sticking into my tricep! :-)
