P1 & Downpipe pt 2 Help!!!!!!!

Jason what you have to do is trim a section away from the rear untill it goes over the new front pipe, it is benifical to replace the heat shield as it will heat up your brake fluid to much and cause a spongy feel to the brakes (not recommended).

You need to make a cut from the top of the shields rear arch, across so that it passes down just below the bolt hole, to the corner and then straight down to the bottom.
The heat gain without it is not excessive and would not heat the brake fluid enough for you to notice a difference (my RA does not have the heatshield fitted), but its worth doing all the same.
