Question

I'm about to order an STi V spoiler and its supposed to use the existing holes on the bootlid - is this so? It seems as though two holes will not be enough to secure it in place - I want to avoid using bonding agents as when it comes to selling the car I will return it to standard.

Any help will be much appreciated...

You will need to drill 2 new holes - 1 at each end. The positions are where the original spoiler clips into place (it use 2 fixings plus 1 clip per side). The hole in the lid isn't affected but you need to drill thru' the inner panel. Make sure you get a touch up paint to cover the bare metal. Also, put a cloth inside the panel where you need to drill so that when you take it out, it brings the swarf with it.
