I had a cat back and no re-map, pretty sure turbo back will require a re-map

Eh? He's losing his cats. It would not have been fine. Decat = Remap. No questions.

Ok. Where's the best place to go for a remap in the Nottinghamshire area and roughly how much?
Would it be best to change plugs oil and fuel pump before?

Is there anything that would be a good mod to do before a remap.

Performance panel filter, uprated spark plugs and a Walbro/HRC 255lph fuel pump are the usual before a first remap, if your car is an STI

you can have a remap on a standard car with no mods whatsoever and gain a good 20bhp on standard but the common route is an exhaust and filter and maybe a fuel pump & decat depending on what power you are looking for.

Mines a wrx 54 plate. Already got full exhaust sat on kitchen floor at the moment. What plugs would you recommend and which is the best panel filter to have

It of curiosity, of you had a 2.5" decat system and swapped for 3" decat system... Would you get a map tweak?
