I recently bought a 53 plate blobeye. I was driving it home when the engine management light came on. I have had It plugged in and it is saying its running too lean, lambda sensor 1 bank 1

I bought a new lambda sensor DENSO 22641AA042, exactly the same as what was fitted but the light is still on.

Could this be a mapping issue why its running lean ect and the lambda is picking up this fault

Hi mate have you had the fault code cleared since you fitted the sensor?

The code for lean doesnt always mean the lambda needs changing. It could be you have an air leak some where in the system

no not had it cleared since fitting the sensor. The computer said lambda sensor 1 bank 1

Try clearing the code first, if the code re appears with the same fault check for air leaks
