Standard Twinscroll(Blobeye) JDM Sti has

Rear Wiper
Electric folding mirrors
HID headlights
VF37 twinscroll turbo
Equal length headers(no burble)
Defi style speedo

All additional to the UK spec which has none of these,

With a remap you will get around 20bhp/40lbft more than the UK car with a VF35

Probably because the information has been repeated so many times, so it may be prudent to try the search facility on this site.

Change the headers to unequal length but JDM cars are not about a burble they are way more than that, If you want it for the sound get the UK car

I had the same a few months back, having owned import and uk cars previously I decided to go for the sti ppp 05 blob, I would say the jam would be much better but just couldn't find what I wanted for the right money but did for the uk.

I would say both are good but if you can get a jam for your price to with it, if not just get a good uk car!!

I'm not sure about JDM Imprezas but when I bought a fresh imported Pulsar GTiR and Integra Type R, they didn't come under sealed as they don't need that in Japan, so I had them under sealed so make sure if your buying a fresh import then it gets done if you buying a import that been here a while then check it's been under sealed and still check arches etc!

Yep, the Japs don't grit their roads, so the vehicles experience a less harsh environment. By default even a Jap car that has been over here a fair while without underseal should be in better condition than an original UK car without underseal.
