Standard STI as Paul said, value is probably around the 2k mark.

Its a WRX RA not an STI RA.

*edit* Its also a V3 not a V2, although there is a V2 STI RA on ebay at present.

It's a WRX RA as Jay says and it's not worth anywhere near as much as the STI RA

What are the main differences between the WRX RA and STI RA?

As said, its a WRX RA.
The current owner (dealer) bought it at auction for £3000 plus fee's about 6 weeks ago. I know this as I was hoping to buy it but wasn't prepared to give 3K for it.
Nice car with good miles, not worth what he's after though.

That's surely hugely optimistic pricing, wonder where they dream the prices up

Wrong interior also looking at it

Is that this one? Looks good bar non original wheels and lowered suspension, could be a bargain given no MOT etc

Not sure I'd class that as a bargain at £1800 for a v2 sti that needs tax and mot

Yeh that one although I never clicked it and read the info, until now...I reckon the lack of dccd and rear seat actually makes it a WRX RA with a retro fitted roofvent rather than an STI RA its being advertised as....

Quite likely I'd say, can't see the thumb wheel and no pictures of dash

As always (and as I started saying in 2002): look at the applied model number and rely on this, not the vendor.

WRX: GC8?48D
WRX Type-RA: GC8?47D
WRX STI: GC8?4ED
WRX STI Type-RA: GC8?4DD

The ? represents the model year indicator and STI and STI Type-RA models will only have a unique AMN from September 1995 / 1996 model year onwards. Before that they werent series production models.
