I thought this was rather splendid:

Apologies if it's a re-post. I searched but didn't find it.

I'd give a kidney for a car like that, absolutely beautiful, I like the fact the owner let him detail his Aston as well, some people are loaded.

Is it normal for detailers to not take the wheel off when cleaning the arch or inside of the wheel?

Nope, standard 22B arches. They cost a 'wee' bit more than normal though.

It was only a two day detail to be fair, so corners would need cutting somewhere.

With a full job, I'd expect the car to be on stands to get the wheels completely cleaned and coated, and wheel arches cleaned/protected.

Can easily spend two days with corrective polishing alone!

Nice. Fog light surrounds are missing though.

Theres speculation as to what 22B actualy means.
Some think the 22 is engine size and B for bilstein (22b had bilstein suspension like the legacy spec b)
22B is also hexadecimal for 555.

Truely stunning car, I'll own one in the future. Could of bought one a few years ago for 20K but the car just wasn't right.

As Matty says 22b is hexadecimal for 555. The 555 connection comes from the 555 brand of cigarettes, the parent company being BAT (British American Tobacco) which owned and sponsored BAR (British American Racing). Dave Richards who set up Prodrive also had a stake in BAR. Hence the 555 connection.

Lovely! I think owning one would be a bittersweet affair, you'd want to drive it everywhere but you'd feel guilty when you do drive it.
Are those stainless grills standard?

I think the hex conversion is 2 x256 + 2 x16 + 11
