Remember, book price is an indication and should be taken with a pinch of salt in some circumstances.
The car wants advertising privately for £4995 and go from there. A dealer wont want to give you anymore than 3500 quid unless he's got a huge mark up in the car you're having off him.

Why do you need the reg to check book price ??? Model, mileage and condition are only required.

Make sure you get one with a forged engine (a few around) or a JDM version (rocking horse poo).
Your car is worth up to just under £5k on a good day. A trader will hit your wallet quite hard so unless you get an offer near that value it is best to sell it yourself.

I couldn't find a decent newage sti for less than £6k when I was looking. Sure there were some well over 100k out there with poor histories etc but certainly no good examples anywhere near the 4.5k mark! If there was I wouldn't have bought my wrx.

Yes it is. I. Bought it a while ago. And spent alot on it around 1800 and I paid full 5k for the car. From all the oils, to full suspension replace due to 4 shocks knocking. I'll do a full advert over the weekend at some point,
