Hi all in need of some help!!!!!I have a Subaru impreza sti late 96 import every time its in gear it feels like its in neutral I've changed the whole gear linkage and gear selector and its still sloppy (what to do now)

Worn bushes where the linkage bolts to the box ??
Mine was a little sloppy so replaced them with the ASperformance kit and it sorted it. £50 for all the bushes iirc.

the gear linkage came with uprated bushes.

When you say linkage what do you actually mean. The entire linkage that runs under the car from the box or just the stick ??

yes matty the entire linkage that runs under the car to the box (including selector)

cross spring? The small spring on the gear selector its on ,is this what you mean
