Default Winter tyres at the front, normal at the back ?

Hi.
My front tyres need changing. Will it hurt the diff or something if i get a pair of winter tyres ,and leave the rear ones as they are (Yokohama parada spec2)
I would imagine it will be fine in dry, but what will happen if we get some snow, and wheels will spin at different speeds as there will be obvious grip difference between the front and back.

I'd be more worried about the car constantly wanting to swap ends in poor conditions be it under braking, cornering or aceleration.

Especially with Spec2s which don't work that well in the cold anyway.
