Just watched a you tube vid of a GTR with rolling boost, flippin eck. What's all that about

Being a computer **** I don't know how to but if you put Nissan GTR in the You Tube search and scroll down till you see rolling boost in the title, I think it was the only one. Third page 1 minute 38 seconds two guys in the car

Just search 'nissan gtr rolling boost' and it comes straight up.

I know the power has a lot to do with it but it seems a good way of getting going without all the damage a standstill launch can do.

It's like left foot braking. Stomp on the accelerator while holding speed by braking simultaneously. Lift for off brake and off you go

I don't think that's what he was doing, it was more an electrical assistance I think (a button)

That's not the video I watched. The one I saw looked more like an electrical aid and I just wonered what it was / how it worked and whether it could be used on all turbocharged cars.

The way I saw it was the chap held the accelerater down flat, boost built up to max and then when boost hit maximum the car went. A bit like anti lag and launch control combined whilst moving.

I agree but he mentioned "holding down the cancel button, floor it, then let go of the button"
