Default What are my blacked blob headlights worth??

Right got a feeling they won't be worth much, They have been blacked and detangoed by one of previous owners. Unfortunately as passenger light wasn't sealed back up properly it has caused abit of corrosion to the lens on the inside after extensive condensation. I tried to correct this with headlight restoration kit, but has seemed of now made the whole lens have some sort of a slight fogged looked, its only slight.
Drivers light has a slight crack to the blacked insert next to indicator.

Neither will include adjuster motors, but comes bulbs and a hid kit with ballasts etc. Will be leaving them on for my MOT which is soon, so will show they are still fit for purpose.

From what you described I wouldn't have thought they are worth very much if anything.

The problem is that its very simple to black and de-tango the lights, so unless someone has a set in worse condition than yours you're gonna struggle to shift them.
If you got £50 for them you've done well imo.

yeah, just noticed they usually sell for about £250ish if in good condition so thought may of been worth something if chucked in HID kit with them, may aswell just use parts off them for my new lights :/

Stick them on eBay. I had some tatty ones and I was 100% honest in the ad with loads of photos.

They went for silly money (275 quid!) and the buyer was over the moon with them.

People are really scared of doing this mod themselves so they will sell for sure.

the melted sealer is all over the join, it has been bodged hence the reason they fog up.

if done correctly the sealer wont come out of the join.

they will fog up all the time now due to the seal not working.

oh right who ever blacked them originally made all the **** ups, ive had them apart recently and resealed them up.
The one with worse condensation had seemed to of weathered the inside of the passenger lens, and tried to correct this but now look like theres a haze on that lens now.

That's why I was moaning above about people doing half arsed jobs, as was hoping to get my money back from the jdm's that I bought

they just need the sealer melting and putting back in the join and reheating, it wont seal with it outside the lip.

theres plenty of sealer in the join , unfortunately there was excessive amounts used originally and tried to remove amuch as I could as it was a mess, I just put a tad extra on to ensure that they don't leak/fog anywhere
