Hi

I bought the above car a few days ago and was just wandering if anybody knows anything about it It seems to be running fine and it is in showroom condition Just curious if it belonged to someone on here.

Thanks in advance

One of the first things you should look for when buying a car. Without a history you potentially might not know something you need to!

Good luck tracking it down, if you can find out where it has been serviced then maybe you have a chance of getting the service history together.

It may be worth getting the car fully inspected, I know Revolution do an "everything" service for situations like this and imports with unknown history.

Welcome to Scoobynet by the way!

It happens unfortunately, but it would be best to get in touch with previous owners and try to recreate the service history.

I wouldn't resort to a costly session with Revolution unless you don't get anywhere, in which case I'd be having a word with the seller/dealer anyway for misleading you.

Id take the car straight to the nearest specialist and get full service done with cambelt etc for peace of mind, might be expensive but a lot cheaper then a engine!!!

Cant you find any address's on any paperwork?? or even the log book with previous owners address or go back to the dealer and ask if you could get in touch with the previous owner??
