The VF22 has the abilty to make very decent power, I'd say somewhere around 330bhp, the dyno you use has a large influence on the result though.

Wouldn't recommend a vf22 as an upgrade. Whilst it makes good top end power it is very laggy. You'll need to really rev the car and keep high up the rev range to make good progress. Something like the vf35 would've been much better.

It was already on mate when I bought the car, the cars been mapped already with it on, just this time I have put on pinks and a STI top mount, so Duncan can open it more.. The last time he did a road map and he guessed I was around the 310 - 315 mark, and said I could go a more once I had pinks in

I can't compare the VF22 against anything but I don't mind it really, although I do agree it does nothing untill 3,500 then Wham!

Ah I see. To be fair the vf22 does give a meaty top end hit. I'd say you may see 350+ with your supporting mods. The reason for its lagginess is the larger exhaust housing.

i've got very similar mods, but a vf35, mapped by dunc, i was happy with 325bhp as i don't want to stress anything too much, he got me 330bhp and he said there was still more to be had if i wanted it, but i'm happy with what i've got

my guess for your's is 344bhp

Was just going to predict 320bhp lol I had a similar set up on my Type R but had a front mount and it did 330BHP.

Duncan got 345bhp out of my previous blob STI type UK with a HS TD05 18G (which I was abit disappointed in TBH)

Boost about 1.25 bar?

I like the VF22, very punchy.
