Exhaust choice doing my head in
I am planning an upgrade to a mdx321t, currently have what looks like a prodrive sports cat, resonated center and tsl backbox (also mapped).
Is the 350bhp the absolute max a prodrive cat can take?
Are there any sports cats that can take 450bhp?
Is there anyone running this turbo with a sports cat?
I really cant be bothered changing down pipes for an mot, but if I have no other choice then I suppose thats what I'll have to do, might aswell just go for a decat.
Opinions and advice please? Car is a widetrack blob.

Hi there
Prodrive sport cat will or can be the main restriction if you want to go above 350bhp.
What I know and what I've seen,RCM Sport Cat is OK above 450bhp(I would say close to 500bhp has been OK),I think Steve@Stevebluewrx has run RCM Sport cat without the issue above 480bhp on his MDX321T
If you want best possible flow, then full decatted exhaust is only option and some sport cats are restrictive, some are not
Same is too with the 2.5" and 3" exhaust, some 2.5" can flow above 400bhp without the issue, but some struggle above 350bhp

If you're going to change the exhaust get one with the (sports) cat in the centre section so it's easy to replace with a de-catted section. Much easier at MOT time. I use the Milltek spec C (3") system and replace the centre section with the catted piece for the MOT
