Anyone running cp pistons and rods in the build,

How noisey are these are quite slappy when warm or only cold

Any anyone using mahle pistons, trying to see whats quieter for a forged build

mines got mahle in it i believe, no noticable noise at all

 

Noise will depend on what forging the material is made from, if its 2618 it will require more clearence, if its 4032 it can be honed to a tighter tolerence, hence little to no noise, if your using CP pistons check the gudgeon pin wall thickness, there very thin compared to other pistons & are a potential problem on high power builds.
