Anyone running cp pistons/rod or mahle pistons
 

Hi,

Anyone running cp pistons and rods in the build,

How noisey are these are quite slappy when warm or only cold:thumb:

Any anyone using mahle pistons, trying to see whats quieter for a forged build:thumb:

mines got mahle in it i believe, no noticable noise at all ;)

Noise will depend on what forging the material is made from, if its 2618 it will require more clearence, if its 4032 it can be honed to a tighter tolerence, hence little to no noise, if your using CP pistons check the gudgeon pin wall thickness, there very thin compared to other pistons & are a potential problem on high power builds.
