Maybe because the constant ***** waving on a "bought not built car" is getting a little tedious.

I think your enthusiasm is being seen as '***** waving'. It's a fine line but you've got nothing to prove John. It's good to see your loyalty to the marque. Considering you could have bought anything you wanted you've stuck with a Scooby.

Out of interest how did you manage to get those cars? Only ask as everything you write is hard to read?

BPR, I don't think it's so much a case of jealousy, more like people are not so much interested in numbers. The numbers are only a result of the time and effort you put in to reaching those numbers. Speaking personally I'm much more interested in what you did and how you did it, and furthemore what you're going to do. The cost and the numbers are just accessories to the facts.
It's nice that you bought into a great car that might otherwise just have become another statistic in the long list of cars broken for cash.

Cheers Einstein, thing is I've only done one thread amout my new car so don't get where people are coming from really on here, as for baught not built, I was minuets away from giving the nod to build one when I got the txt from Banny, if you were about to build one you'd of been stupid to not buy it as a base, and that is all it is a base for a build ! If I was posting I've done this or I've done that daily then fair enough but I haven't !

Left school when I was 14 and went to work on blackpool prom! Many people I know that are very successful can't string a sentence on paper, many of the cleverest most educated people I know ain't got a pot to **** in, so I guess it's swings and roundabouts. Also I have that dyslexia thing apparently!

As I said they were not my cars but the blue 2.1 has a built engine from cotcomp running a 321v - had a issue with the actuator sticking, from 4000 it went well

And the 2.5 silver has a api build running a 321t, it had nearly instant power and the tauq curve was mirroring the power, it had to get strapped real tight as the first few runs it was just spinning like mad

blackpoolrock,
Normally peoples inability to construct a sentence together pisses me off, however I suspect your *apparent* bank balance will probably **** off others even more!

Love the DBS!

Not 'apparent' Shaun especially considering Alan Hansen is one of his neighbours.

'apparent' meaning I don't personally know him, so I can't say how big or small his bank balance is. Wasn't meant to be derogatory.
