Default Would you buy

Went to look at a car today, when i got there it is a small porta cabin with cars ranging from 3k up to 20k (the one i was there for) I asked what warranty is offered he simply replied 30 days like the rest.

Is it just me being cautious at handing over such a large amount of money or would others happily buy from them?

I personally wouldnt...but

You could check companies house, and see how long they have been in buisness, and check what there accounts where for last year...assuming they are a limited company which they should be selling 20k cars..get the name of the owner, and check him as well, see if there are any CCJ's etc

Something just didnt seem right, 20k car covered in dust. There has been a car sales pitch there for many years but i think it probably changed names a few times

If he's like that with a potential customer who could hand him £20k what's his attitude going to be after you've handed it over ??????

Perhaps you should have gone there in top hat and tails, so he could be convinced that you weren't just a timewaster
