Default Aston Martin brake pads or jag xk?

I was told the other day that the brake pads from either of the above would go in the standard 4 pot subaru calipers on a classic and were proper good pads at only around £40!! Anyone else heard this???

its (very) old Aston/Jag fitments................

this only applies to certain over-sized disc conversions due to the fact the pad is larger and hang out of the bottom of the caliper
