I use both alcantara and imitation fabric and when you said glue came through it that will not happen with the Real stuff no matter how much glue you use, just thought I would say as some people pay a lot of money for what they think is real but in fact it's not , you can get some good quality imitation fabric that most will never tell the difference but if you work with both day in day out you will come to realize just how better the real deal is

looks like you done a great job so far and would recommend you use a brand of tar and glue remover very lightly over the bit of glue that has come through and rub it on with a cutting of the same fabric and then use your finger nail to free the pile this should get rid of the mark

heres a few bits i have done on scoobys i the past

my old classic doors trimmed to match newage seats

trimmed a set of standard back seats to match a pair of wr1 fronts that someone had bought plus door cards ( you cant see well in door card pics but they have a black twin stitch running through fabric on edge of arm rest for detail )

and another set someone wanted handles done as well as middles just to be different
